Bike Babes reaches 8,000 members

The growing women’s motorcycling network Bike Babes has now surpassed 8,000 members – an impressive development since its launch almost eleven years ago.

The Facebook group’s growth to 8,000 members has been highlighted in the media, including both SVT and TV4,, reflecting the increasing interest in women’s presence within the motorcycling world.

Bike Babes, founded on Facebook nearly eleven years ago by Karin Pontén, brings together women of all ages and with every kind of motorcycle – from beginners to experienced riders. The aim is to create a safe and welcoming community for sharing experiences, enjoying the ride and finding inspiration.

The network also organises meet-ups, rides and events across Sweden, continuing to contribute to a more inclusive motorcycling culture throughout the country.
