Southern Portugal offers everything from narrow dirt trails winding through eucalyptus-scented forests, dried-up riverbeds and steep, dramatic climbs, to wide gravel roads running through vineyards, orange groves and eucalyptus plantations. Regardless of riding experience or skill level, you are unlikely to be disappointed when heading south to ride off-road in Portugal.
