SWM might not be the name that dominates biker banter over coffee breaks, but for fans of classic enduro machines, those three letters hold quite a legacy. The brand was born in northern Italy in 1971 and quickly gained recognition for its rugged off-road bikes. Back then, the name was actually SVVM – an acronym derived from the founders' names and the place where it all began.
