SWM unveils the Bumblebee Concept
The concept features broad proportions, a low stance and a design language inspired by modern industrial design and mecha aesthetics. It represents a clear departure from SWM’s traditional model range and suggests an ambition to position the brand in a more visually expressive segment.
The unveiling of the Bumblebee Concept follows SWM’s other major recent initiative: the Stormbreaker V 1200, a planned V-twin tourer that was shown earlier this year in prototype form. Together, the two models indicate that SWM is now building around a larger V-twin platform and aims to establish itself in the premium class, both technically and aesthetically.

For now, the Bumblebee remains a pure concept, with no confirmed production plans or technical specifications. Even so, its presentation sends a clear signal that SWM is looking to push beyond its established boundaries and explore new segments where style, power and a futuristic design approach come together.
About SWM
SWM Motorcycles traces its roots to Lombardy in northern Italy, with its base in Biandronno near Lake Varese, an area with a long industrial tradition in European motorcycle manufacturing. The brand was originally founded in the 1970s by two racing riders and quickly gained recognition through success in off-road and enduro competition, where technical focus, reliability and low weight were key priorities.
After a period of absence, SWM was relaunched in the 2010s with the ambition of reconnecting with its historical heritage while establishing a modern model range. Production today takes place in Italy, and development has gradually expanded from smaller off-road motorcycles to larger engine platforms designed for road use.
Within its current line-up, SWM combines classic lines and functional design with modern technology, often with an emphasis on simplicity, robust construction and accessibility. The brand is now focusing on blending its Italian heritage with new design directions, larger platforms and a clearer global profile.
The Bumblebee Concept is a clear example of this shift – a design study that shows SWM aiming higher and looking further ahead than ever before.
