ZXMOTO Expands into Europe

The Chinese motorcycle brand ZXMOTO is set to enter the European market from June 2026. Danish company C. Reinhardt, which already distributes Suzuki, Voge and Loncin ATVs, has been appointed distributor for ZXMOTO in Denmark, Sweden and the Benelux countries.

Founded by a former Kove Co-Founder

ZXMOTO was founded in 2024 by Zhang Xue, who was also one of the founders of the Chinese motorcycle brand Kove. The name ZXMOTO is derived from his own initials.

Born in Huaihua, Hunan Province, Zhang has been involved with motorcycles from a young age. After relocating to Chongqing, one of the centres of China’s motorcycle industry, he began building motorcycles and developing the business that would later become Kove Moto.

Kove grew rapidly over the following years and, according to the company, sold around 28,000 motorcycles in 2023. After leaving the company in 2024, Zhang founded ZXMOTO with the ambition of developing his own brand and motorcycle models.

Success in WorldSSP

ZXMOTO entered the Supersport World Championship in 2026 in partnership with Evan Bros Racing. After the first ten races of the season, the team, with French rider Valentin Debise aboard the 820RR-RS, has secured five victories.

These results have helped bring international attention to the young brand, despite the company having existed for only a couple of years.

C. Reinhardt’s Commercial Director, Jens Stillenmunkes, describes ZXMOTO as a brand that is prepared to challenge convention:

“Our dealers and customers deserve something that challenges the established order, and that’s exactly what ZXMOTO delivers.”

First motorcycles expected this autumn

The dealer network will be established across the company’s initial European markets during autumn 2026, with the first motorcycles expected to arrive in dealerships in September. Further details regarding the models that will be offered will be announced shortly.
