KTM Scandinavia Women’s Camp – with a focus on GGN

At the end of September, nearly fifty female enduro riders gathered in Laxå for KTM Scandinavia’s women’s camp. The participants represented all ages and experience levels, but shared the same drive: to develop as riders and to spend a day on the bikes together.

Coaches for the weekend included KTM ambassador Sofia Grelsson, along with Joakim Ljunggren, Joakim Grelsson, Kalle Ahlin and Mattias Särnholm. Together they led sessions focusing on body position, line choice, balance drills and how to ride in the most energy-efficient way possible. With the Gotland Grand National (GGN) just around the corner, there was an added emphasis on preparing for this classic race.

The weather was at its best, offering sunshine and real Indian summer warmth. Lunch came in the form of tacos – a much-appreciated break before more riding sessions. When the camp wrapped up, every participant received a well-filled goodie bag – and two lucky riders even won an entry to the Gotland Grand National.

This was the second time KTM Scandinavia has organised the women’s camp in Laxå, and the strong turnout shows how much initiatives for women in enduro are valued.

A day full of riding joy, encouragement and community spirit.
